Brick by Brick Campaign
Own a Piece of History. Build a Brighter Future.
Support the Avalon Regal Theater by sponsoring a symbolic brick for $100.
Your donation helps restore the building’s iconic terracotta facade and supports design and engineering work.

General Contributions
Last year, a two-phase restoration plan was approved for the Avalon Regal Theater- a cultural icon on Chicago’s South Side- and now we need the community's help to restore it!
We are currently in the construction planning phase and look to break ground Spring 2026 to reopen the Grand Banquet Hall for events by 2027. Auditorium construction is expected to wrap in 2028.
The Avalon Regal Theater will feature entertainment from everyone's favorite in R&B, Jazz, Hip-Hop and Rap, as well as theater, dance, film, comedy, and more. This is truly an exciting and historic opportunity for the community to invest in its own success.

Our Seat Naming program offers an opportunity to recognize your support by naming one of the Avalon Regal Theater’s 2,500 auditorium seats. You will receive a personalized plaque, engraved with your chosen name or organization which will be prominently displayed on the back of an auditorium seat for two years after our expected 2027 opening.
Seats begin at $1,000 beyond the first three rows of the main floor and include the following benefits:
- 4 tickets to performances per year (does not include private events)
- Embossed name plaque positioned on an auditorium seat
- Framed Seat Certificate and duplicate name plaque
- On-going recognition at fundraising events and at the grand opening

VIP Seats in the first 3 main floor rows have a $10,000 minimum.
